My soap and cosmetic making originally started as a hobby to express creativity. A few years later, this bloomed into a necessity to relieve personal skin problems that arose from heath issues and not finding suitable bath & body products in the retail mainstreams. By blending my backgrounds of food production and healthcare with cosmetic chemistry, I was able to create some truly wonderful skin care products that helped alleviate my various skin issues. In 2006, with the encouragement of family and friends who were constantly depleting our personal supply, Botanica Basics was born.
